Goals 2009-2010

A. Increase Public Awareness

1. Monthly articles in the Richmond Record
2. Articles in the Berkshire Eagle
3. Use of the conference room for Richmond non-profit groups
4. Host “meet and greet” night for PK and K and then grades 1-2-3 so parents can get to know each other
5. Continue to try to reach the Seniors

B. Richmond School Goes Green

1. Get information to community about rain barrels
2. Guest speaker about organic gardens/lawns
3. Start to increase the size of the school gardens
4. Begin to use compost bin
5. Classroom/cafeteria focusing on environment/recycling issues

C. Support the Bullying Protection Committee being initiated in the school – possibly be a community member on the committee in the fall.
