Michelle Smith

Michelle Smith is the Kindergarten Teacher at Richmond Consolidated School.   She began teaching at RCS  in 2003.  Prior to teaching at Richmond, she taught at Cheshire Elementary School (in Cheshire), and also at Hillcrest Center, in Lenox.

Michelle  holds a B.S. in Elementary Education with an art minor, and an M.Ed. in Education with a concentration in Special Needs.  She is currently certified in Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Needs Education.

Michelle  lives in Richmond with her husband, Eric, and three sons: Brett, Evan, and Blake. She also  has a very large dog, Manny (an English Mastiff).  Michelle’s  hobbies include jewelry making, amateur photography, arts and crafts, and spending time with her friends and family.  Michelle  loves teaching Kindergarten!  From the 3–21 yr. olds she has worked with, Kindergarten is her favorite age to work with in school.
