Joy Mullen

Mrs. Joy Mullen has taught at Richmond School since 1997.  She teaches instrumental music in grades 4-8. Students in grades 4 and 5 are eligible to play in the Beginners’ Band after a simple audition. Students in grades 6-8 are eligible to play in the Concert Band. The Jazz Band is open to students in grades 4-8 and rehearses before school on Friday mornings. Mrs. Mullen also conducts a middle school chorus for students in grades 6-8. She teaches the Orff approach to music education to grades K-3 and chorus to grades 3-5 in the CAP program on Tuesdays.
