Lynne Nilan

Mrs. Nilan, a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Cambridge College, teaches English and history to 7th and 8th graders. She lives in Pittsfield with her husband, dog Tank, and three children, when they’re not away at college. Before embarking on her teaching career, Mrs. Nilan worked as a writer and editor for for several publications, including The Berkshire Eagle, where she was educator reporter for a time, and at The Berkshire Museum, where she served as Education Coordinator. She loves to read, learn new words, and watch great movies in her spare time.
