Pamela MacDonald
Mme. MacDonald is the French teacher for Grades 3 – 8. She has been teaching at RCS since 1981. She received her Bachelor’s degree in French in 1978 from the University of Massachusetts and her Master’s of Science in Education in 2001 from the University of New England in Maine.
She is originally from the Springfield, MA area, but has lived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and St. Louis, Missouri. Previously, she has taught middle school English and 4th grade. Currently, she teaches at Morris School in Lenox as well as at Richmond School.
She has two children, a daughter who is about to become a reigstered dietitian and a son who is a freshman at Penn State. She also has two sweet dogs, both rescued from the Humane Society.
Mme. MacDonald is also the advisor for 5 – 8 extracurricular activities and the high school liaison for 8th graders and their families.
