Sharon Renfrew
Mrs. Sharon Renfrew has been a 5/6 grade teacher for the past 17 years. She loves teaching children to explore the world through lessons in geography, history and literacy. Mrs. Renfrew’s love of books, world travel and her recent study of local history helps bring excitement to her classroom.
Mrs. Renfrew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from North Adams State College, a Bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University in Social Work, and a Master’s degree in Education in curriculum development with a special focus in writing and literacy from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. She also has logged dozens of graduate courses in History, Social Planning, Community Organization, and Economics from the University of Minnesota, Fitchburgh State College, and Western New England College.
Mrs. Renfrew is married to Dr. Bruce Renfrew and is the proud mother of two children. During summer months, she loves taking Graduate classes in History, reading great literature and spending quiet nights listening to the loons living at Miles Pond in Vermont.
