Rosemary Larkin
Ms. Larkin has always been passionate about science and entered the teaching profession later on in life. Ms. Larkin began her studies at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and received a B.S. Microbiology in 1983. From there she spent many years in Boston, MA doing research and publishing at MIT, Division of Comparative Medicine, Tufts University, Boston Campus, Division of Lab Animal Medicine and Forsyth Dental Center, Boston Ma. After several years in research she moved to VA and accepted a position as the Supervisor of Microbiology at MicroBioTest, Inc., a company that is a testing lab for EPA and FDA. When she arrived back in the Berkshires she returned to school and became certified by the University of Massachusetts as a middle school science teacher and then went on further to achieve her Masters degree. She currently teaches 7th and 8th grade General Science, and 5th – 8th grade Technology.
