Special Education
Mrs. Shook is the part time Special Education Director at RCS. Previously, she taught Special Education at RCS for 1.5 years with students in grades 3, 4, and 7. Mrs.Shook taught middle school Special Education in the Berkshire Hills Regional School District for 28 years, retiring in June 2016. She holds a masters degree in Administration and Creative Arts and Learning from Lesley College. She was on the MCAS Committee grades 7 and 8 for both Math and English for 5 years.
She enjoys spending time with her 3 children, catering, going to the beach, walking her 2 dogs and attending New York Yankee baseball games.

Mr. Houle is a special education teacher at RCS. Prior to teaching at RCS, he was a special education teacher at Taconic High School and Hoosac Valley Middle School. Mr. Houle holds a Bachelors of Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University, and is currently in the process of completing his Master of Education with a focus on special education from Westfield State University. Additionally, Mr. Houle was on the MCAS Committee for Bias and Sensitivity from 2019 - 2021.
In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and learning Spanish.

Mrs. Hosley is a special education teacher at RCS. Prior to becoming a special education teacher, she taught preschool and kindergarten for many years. Mrs. Hosley holds a Bachelor's Degree from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts(formerly North Adams State College) and a Master's Degree in Language and Literacy from Simmons College. In her free time she enjoys traveling, flower gardening and doing puzzles.
